Vision Statement

"Bring Them Home - A House of Redemption and Freedom"
The Bring Them Home project envisions a world where survivors of human trafficking find refuge, restoration, and the promise of a new life. Guided by God’s unfailing love and truth, this place will break chains, renew hearts, and allow each woman to experience the healing embrace of her Saviour.

Inspired by:

Exodus 17:15: "The Lord is my banner."
Song of Solomon 2:4: "His banner over me is love."

This ministry seeks to reflect God’s heart—a beacon of hope and safety for the broken and vulnerable. It is an invitation to sit at His table, to be made whole again, and to step into a future filled with purpose.

Mission Statement

To create a Christ-centered refuge for survivors of human trafficking, where safety, healing, and empowerment converge. Through faith-driven counselling, skill-building programs, and community restoration, Bring Them Home will walk alongside each survivor, restoring dignity, rebuilding trust, and reawakening purpose. Grounded in the truth of God’s Word, the project exists to guide each individual toward a life marked by freedom, peace, and Christ's unconditional love.

The Bring Them Home project is dedicated to helping survivors of human trafficking, regain their freedom, hope, and dignity. The project is organized into two main parts: Building a Strong Foundation and Connection & Awareness. Each part includes essential steps designed to create a lasting impact while focusing on kindness and support.

The Bring Them Home project isn’t just about creating a shelter—it’s about creating a ministry that reflects God’s redemptive power. It’s about bringing women home to a place where they can encounter Christ and His love, heal and begin again.

This vision is big because God’s plans are always more significant than what we can imagine. While the road ahead may sometimes feel overwhelming, we trust in His timing. Every step, no matter how small, is part of the foundation He is laying for something beautiful, instilling a sense of reassurance and confidence in the project's success.

Casa Nissi Construction, SPRING!

I am currently looking and taking bids on some outside work at Casa Nissi! Spring is just around the corner and we want to move, as soon as the weather breaks. There is some concrete work, one more coat of stucco, landscaping, leveling and planting grass! (I will be happy to get out of mud mode) The construction and furnishings seem never ending but with God's help we will find workers, funding and finish with the continued conversation of construction! We hope to have it all finished and ready to go by the end of the summer, so the focus will be solely on the, "Bring Them Home" project!

In the meantime, we are busy painting and furnishing the inside, due to the cold outside. Each day, Casa Nissi reflects more and more the beauty of God and all the people from around the globe who have prayed and invested in our project! You can feel the peace and the anointing of God resting in this place! For sure many will come and be refreshed, healed, restored and renewed for generations to come! Thank you for your continued support for the vision!

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”

60th Birthday Celebration

May 30th, I will celebrate my 60th birthday! For 1/3 of my life I have served in full time missions, and plan on finishing the rest of the years rescuing and advocating for women who are being trafficked in Romania! This year, after 15 years of serving in Medgidia, I will come to the States and celebrate my birthday with family and friends. It will be the first time, that I can remember, being home in America for my birthday! I will bring "my girls" with me. I am their adopted mom and grandmother.

I met Ileana and Mirela in 2008 at an orphanage that I worked at in the North of Romania. At the time, they were 11 and 10 years old. When they turned 18 and after high school, they came and worked with me in the community center, while they adapted to life outside an institution. We adopted each other, and have grown into a beautiful family after 9 years. Ileana is married and lives in Medgidia with my granddaughter, Clara, who is 2 1/2 years old. I am excited to come together to America with them for 3 weeks in May/June. It is a challenge for my family from states to come here so I decided to bring my family to them from Romania.

If you would like to help sponsor our trip it would be a great blessing for me. Now, I begin to organize a party for my birthday and plan some fun activities for us in St. Louis, like the Zoo, Six Flags, Science Center and just have fun! It is the first time for them and a long time for me that I will just come to the states and have fun! Looking forward to sharing time together with you, 60 years!
