“Fresh Look, Better Experience:
Introducing Our Updated Website!”
Our updated website is now live, and it’s a strong reflection of the heart of our project for victims and survivors of trafficking, Bring Them Home. The site beautifully honors our past through the Community Center project while also casting a vision for the future. It tells our story, celebrates the resilience of survivors, and highlights the mission that continues to guide us forward.
Feel free to share it with friends, family, and colleagues—we’d love for more people to join this journey of hope and restoration. Thank you for walking alongside us in this work. Together, we’re helping to bring them home.
Last week I read a post from “Global Prophetic Alliance that really spoke to me,
here are some of the highlights:
“I say to you come and sit at the table…This table is not an ordinary table but it is one of encounter. It is a table of intimacy. It is the table of break through. It is a meeting place with ME. This is the table of absolute victory and I have prepared a place for you at this table. The table is set and there is a chair with your name on it. There is a place for you at My table…This is not a place you need to earn or a place you deserve but I place I freely invite you into. The invitation has gone out, Come and feast on My presence and My faithfulness. This table holds a place of peace in the storm, clarity in the midst of confusion, healing in the place of pain…The table has been prepared for you and the seat is open. Come and take your rightful position with Me.”
Come To The Table
Some of life’s greatest moments happen at gatherings around a table. Sometimes they are filled with joy and laughter, and sometimes they hold the weight of life’s most challenging moments. When we look back, we often find that many of the most significant events in both history — and in our own personal stories — took place around a table.
That is how I see Casa Nissi: a gathering place, a table with room for everyone who passes through. We will always have a place for them.
The name Casa Nissi carries deep meaning. It comes from Jehovah Nissi, the banner or flag Moses raised after defeating the Amalekites. It also echoes the words in Song of Solomon 2:4:
“He has brought me to his banqueting place, and his banner (Jehovah Nissi) over me is love [waving overhead to protect and comfort me].”
For years, I spoke mostly about Casa Nissi, but the greater vision for Bring Them Home has always been about the table. God has been showing me this for many years: the table is the center of community, of welcome, of love.
It connects deeply with my passion for hosting and cooking — and with the original call that started my journey into missions: to feed kids. Today, that vision has expanded. Not only will I continue to feed children, but also their mothers.
In Romanian we say: “Hai la masă!” — Come to our table! We have a place for you! And that is the heart of the Bring Them Home mission!
Then he turned to his host. “When you put on a luncheon or a banquet,” he said, “don’t invite your friends, brothers, relatives, and rich neighbors. For they will invite you back, and that will be your only reward. Instead, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. Then at the resurrection of the righteous, God will reward you for inviting those who could not repay you.”
Luke 14:12-14
A New Season, A Ready Table
The table is ready. The places are set. And just as the physical season shifts around us, so too does the season of this ministry. God is leading us into a new chapter — one where the focus is no longer on bricks, mortar, or construction projects, but on people, hearts, and lives. Our attention is now fully on the Bring Them Home (BTH) project.
This month, the Lord has opened a door for me to travel to Athens, Greece, to visit two long-term stay homes. I can’t wait to see firsthand how they manage their daily programs, how they walk with survivors through healing, and how their homes have become safe places of restoration. Even more, I’ve been invited to join them in their weekly outreaches on the streets — to meet women where they are, to listen, to pray, and to share hope. I believe these moments will not only shape my heart but will also help prepare Casa Nissi (CN) for the work ahead.
And there is more. On October 1st, my mom will arrive in Romania for her first visit in over 11 years. I am so excited for her to see all that God has done since her last time here with my dad. During her stay, we’ll gather people around tables — for lunches, dinners, times of prayer, and women’s meetings in local churches. Around these tables, I will share the vision for Bring Them Home with the women of our community.
I will also announce something new: the need for an assistant, a ministry partner to walk side by side with me. Together, we’ll begin by going to the streets, building trust, and forming relationships with the women we meet. This is where Casa Nissi truly begins — at the table, in conversations, in simple acts of love, and in the faithful building of community.
It is a new season. The table is ready. And my heart is full of anticipation for what God will do as we step out in faith.
THANK YOU FOR STANDING WITH US
We are so grateful for your constant support and faithfulness. Your generosity, your sacrifice, and your heart for the work here mean more than words can express.
This summer was one of the hottest we’ve experienced, but even in the heat, we accomplished what God had promised — the stucco and concrete work! While a little remains to be done, we are turning the corner and look forward to completing it by mid-September. None of this would have been possible without you.
What a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness, and of His people working together to bring vision to life. May the Lord bless you for your kindness and your heart to help us finish strong.
