Wishing you all a beautiful holiday season from America! This is such a special time of year—a season to celebrate with loved ones, both near and far. While the holidays are often filled with joy, we also recognize that they can be challenging for many. Some are carrying the weight of loss, sickness, disease, or spiritual battles. Even so, this season invites us to pause and reflect on the many blessings in our lives.
This year especially, I am praying for each and every one of you. I pray that you find peace and comfort, knowing that Jesus was born for us, that He carried our pain and suffering upon His shoulders, and that His name is above every name—in heaven and on earth.
As you gather around the table with family and friends, make room in your hearts for those who are far away. Speak their names in prayer. Invite them home. Pray for the prodigals—those separated from you—to return and once again sit at the table. Let them know there is a place prepared for them, and that they are deeply loved and awaited.
What a beautiful way to close this year and look ahead to 2026—with open arms, expectant hearts, and faith-filled hope. As we enter this season of waiting, may we trust Jesus to do what only He can do:
Bring them home!

This season in the States has been a beautiful time of reconnecting with family, friends, and ministry partners, and sharing all that God has been doing through Casa Nissi. We are deeply grateful for your prayers and faithful support, which have carried us through a long season of preparation.
As we move closer to opening the home, we are now focused on developing the program that will guide and support the girls once they are welcomed into Casa Nissi. This foundational work is essential, and we are seeing God’s hand clearly in every step.
God’s timing has been unmistakable. During this season, I have been blessed to work closely with a dear friend from Medgidia who is now a psychologist. Her professional insight, passion, and encouragement have brought fresh vision and renewed energy after the demanding construction phase. This collaboration is already shaping the therapeutic and restorative framework we will use to help girls heal and rebuild their lives.
We have also seen God open new international connections. Recently, I connected with a ministry team in Switzerland that serves Romanian women working in the Red Light District. The need is overwhelming. Current estimates suggest that 89% of women in prostitution in Germany and Switzerland are Romanian, many of whom have been trafficked or exploited. These statistics are sobering, but they also affirm the urgency of the work God has entrusted to us.
Each month, I join this team—along with longtime friends from YWAM Constanța—in prayer for these women. Looking ahead to next year, we hope to collaborate in person to discern how Casa Nissi can be part of the pathway to freedom and healing. Plans are already underway for mutual visits and outreach opportunities.
Your generosity makes this work possible. Because of your support, Casa Nissi is moving from vision to reality—becoming a safe place of restoration, dignity, and hope. Thank you for standing with us through prayer, encouragement, and financial partnership as God leads us into this next season.

Below is a testimony from the ministry team’s recent outreach—a powerful reminder of why Casa Nissi is so needed and why we must continue moving forward with faith and courage.
“During a Christmas outreach, the team was able to bless women in the Red Light District with pearl necklaces donated by a generous sponsor. Before going out, they prayed over each gift and over the women they would meet—“precious pearls” deeply loved by God. As the women opened their gifts, tears were shed, hearts were softened, and many expressed deep gratitude as truth was spoken over their value and dignity.
In one location, the team stayed for over two hours because the women did not want them to leave. The Gospel was shared, prayers were offered, and meaningful trust was built. One woman expressed a desire to leave prostitution, and connections are now being made to help her take steps toward freedom.”
Other encounters revealed the darker realities of exploitation and control, reminding us how urgent it is to create safe places of refuge and restoration.
This is where Casa Nissi comes in.
Casa Nissi is being prepared as a home—a place where women can come out of exploitation and begin a journey of healing, discipleship, and restored identity. These outreaches are planting seeds, and Casa Nissi will be one of the places where those seeds can take root and grow into new life.
Thank you for standing with us. Your prayers and support are helping turn hope into a tangible place of safety and transformation.

Prayer Focus:
“Bring them home.”

Fifteen years ago this January, I stepped onto the soil of Medgidia, Romania, with nothing but a hopeful heart and a simple prayer to feed kids. I thought it would be a brief chapter. I never could have imagined I was planting my life here, staying for a decade and a half to witness the profound love God has poured out.
Every step of this journey—from those first meals, to building a community center that sends the first children in their families to school—has been a testament to His endless grace. As Scripture beautifully captures the magnitude of this gift:
“For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.”
(Romans 11:36 NIV)
The passion that started with a plate of food has deepened and widened. Now, our hearts break for the plight of vulnerable women, leading us to our most critical mission yet: Casa Nissi and the “Bring Them Home” project.
We are creating more than a shelter; we are building a sanctuary of hope and healing, a place where victims of trafficking and exploitation can become survivors and reclaim their God-given worth and value.
To every partner who has stood by us, your faithfulness is the foundation of this work. We are in this together. Please don’t forget us. We need your help to finish this crucial work.
