“The Lord is my banner”
Moses built an altar there and named it Yahweh-Nissi
(which means “the Lord is my banner”)
Exodus 17:15
Casa (house) Nissi, was named after this verse in the Bible, after Moses won the war against the Amalek generation. A house built on faith, calling it out before it existed! “Yahweh is my banner (love)! A safe house, a house created because of a generational war against our sons and daughters in the sex trafficking industry! A house that will give freedom and a chance of redemption and to break chains of slavery! To give women and girls a chance to be free and experience the love, safety and healing of our Saviour!
Casa Nissi, is becoming all God created it to be. A gorgeous resting place for Him and all who enter! The atmosphere in the house is so peaceful and there is a tangible presence of the anointing resting there. In 2015 God planted the seed and spoke to me about this house and in the past 9 years people from many countries have come, prayed, sang and anointed the land! The anticipation of Casa Nissi’s completion is a nail biter, but God remains faithful and I know that Casa Nissi will be a safe place of love and freedom to all who enter. They will be transformed from being victims to being victorious, because of the faithfulness of God! I wait to have the first meal there with the girls!
“Let him lead me to the banquet hall, and let his banner over me be love.”
Song of Solomon 2:4
Bring Them Home Project
Casa Nissi is the rescue house, the project is Bring Them Home! In 2015 after attending the funeral of a girl from Medgidia which was killed in the act of prostitution, I had a dream several times after. In the dream: “The police called me from several different countries and said, Cindy, this is the police from France, we have a girl for you, can you come and “bring her home?” Again, in the dream… “Cindy, this is the police from England, we have a girl for you, can you come ‘bring her home’?” In the dream, over and over again different police from other countries in Europe called and asked me to come and “Bring Them Home?” After pondering this some time I was sure it was a dream from God, to help Romanian ladies, inside and outside of the country to come back home to Romania. Many women are being trafficked against their will as well as willingly prostituting, right here in Romania and in Europe.
The ‘Bring Them Home’ project will help us give the women an opportunity to come off the streets and into an environment to receive healing, restoration, education, training and all the tools they will need to transform their lives and leave the old behind. We will also work with other ministries, crime police and others in and out of Romania to help us “Bring Them Home.”
The last 9 years, periodically, I have went out and ministered to the women in our area who are working on the streets. I have gained a good relationship with them. They know me and are very open for prayer and to tell their horrific stories of why they are there in the first place. I continue this street ministry but can’t offer the option to come off the streets until we finish construction on Casa Nissi and develop a good strong program for recovery. I am so grateful for your support and my heart is so deeply touched by your extreme sacrifice and generosity!
Yesterday, I cleaned Casa Nissi all day, and I was moved so much by all God has done through you, every nail, every rock, sand and concrete, cleaning solution, mops, tiles, kitchen appliances, sinks and so much more! It is a miracle! Honest, a miracle! God bless you and thank you for helping us finish Casa Nissi so we can begin to…
BRING THEM HOME!
Casa Nissi Construction List:
The construction guy left to go to England, so I don’t know the cost for big labor jobs.
Cindy’s Thoughts
It’s my birthday, May 30th! My last year of the 50th decade! Oh boy! Really, I can’t believe it, but you know, looking back, especially the last 15 years since I came to Romania, WOW! What a ride! I am so blessed to be healthy and strong and ready to move into this new season! I’m excited and have so much more to accomplish! Thank you to each and everyone of you who have helped sustain me these past years and I look forward to what lies ahead with arms wide open! The possibilities are endless!
Some of you know that in 2008 I worked at an orphanage in the North of Romania. Little did I know then that 3 of the girls living there, would come and join me in Medgidia when they turned 18. They started to work at the center but now, they have made their own lives during the last 9 years. They are my adopted (spiritual) daughters, Ileana, married to George and now they have baby girl, Clara, almost 2. Mirela, living and working in a city near us, living with Niculina, also working in a city near. It is one of my greatest joys in life watching these wonderful ladies grow and become all God created them to be! This year we will celebrate my birthday on the balcony of Casa Nissi! Although, not finished, it is good to have a grill outside and be together with my sweet Romanian family! Thank you to all! And God bless you!
”Since you are cherished and precious in my eyes, and because I love you dearly and want to honor you, I willingly give up nations in exchange for you— a man to save your life. I am with you now, even close to you, so never yield to fear. I will bring your children from the east; from the west I will gather you. I will say to the north, ‘Hand them over!’ and to the south, ‘Don’t hold them back!’ Bring me my sons from far away, my daughters from the ends of the earth! Bring me everyone who is called by my name, the ones I created to experience my glory. I myself formed them to be who they are and made them for my glory.”
Isaiah 43:4-7 TPT
